It’s time again for our Annual Client Dinner! I’m so very pleased to say that this is our sixth anniversary of this event! I’m excited that our clients and friends find the event so useful and compelling, and we’re happy to continue providing it.
Each year we try to do something different and unusual. This year is no different as we move the event back to Downtown Hartford to be at the G.Fox Ballroom. The Gershwin Fox Ballroom has been fully restored to its 1920’s art deco glory in the old G. Fox building. In this wonderful historic environment, we’ll seek to inspire a Great Gatsby style roaring 20’s bash.
So yes! Find your double-breasted suit and bowtie, or dust off your best flapper’s dress, and let’s bring the G. Fox Ballroom back to life as it was in it’s heyday! You may find it useful to view the party scene from the 2013 version of The Great Gatsby starring Leonardo DiCaprio for inspiration, and visit www.UniqueVintage.com or www.VintageDancer.com for supplies and attire.
Our special guest speaker this year is Ralph Greggs, founder of Capital Markets Outlook, a consulting firm providing investment advice for the benefit of advisors and their clients. Ralph has been in the mutual fund business since 1983, and most recently served as Capital Markets Strategist at Fidelity Investments for nearly two decades.
Each summer we host this dinner as a way to communicate updates and ideas, but also for clients and friends to interact together. It’s one thing to meet with your advisor at your kitchen table but it’s quite another thing to talk with 150 other clients about their thoughts and ideas too. We believe that interacting together like this at least once a year is an important part of the experience of working with us.
An open bar will be available from 6pm to 7pm with two drink tickets for afterwards, and a cash bar for the night owls. Our good friend DJ Rob and his Intellibeam lighting kit will be on the mezzanine to keep the party going late. Complimentary parking will be available at the Morgan Street Parking Garage behind the G Fox building at 155 Morgan Street, Hartford.
For those who wish to stay over we’ve reserved a discounted block of rooms at the Residence Inn Downtown Hartford, just a 30 second walk from the G.Fox Ballroom. Please let us know if you’d like to reserve a room when you RSVP and we’ll help you find the online reservation page.
RSVP early as reservations are required and space is limited! When you RSVP please be sure to let us know your dinner choice and if you’ll need accommodations for overnight.
